There’s no doubt that hip-hop is one of the most popular genres of music today. Although It is a genre of music that originated in the African American and Latino communities in the Bronx borough of New York City in the late 1970s. Over the past 5 years, we have seen a rapidly growing trend in many Asia countries especially China as well.

Not matter which countries of hiphop music you are listening to, I suppose each artistes has their own unique style and sound, and fans are fiercely loyal to their respective regions.

Speaking of which there are many great things about the hiphop music scene in Asia and US, but what happens when the two styles collide? That’s the question we set out to answer in this round-up article, as we asked a panel of hip-hop artistes from different countries to share their thoughts on the subject.

Coming from North Carolina, he always thinks that the music scene there is underrated and yet to be tapped to its full potential. But It is a great place to collaborate with other artists and develop yourself as an artist.

Rapping is his way to express his emotion, and Hiphop is always one of his biggest influences in music. He started a rap duo in his junior year, after realizing a solo career is what he needed, switching to more R&B music and finally became the independent artist known as WONDR today… Read more

Coming from Chengdu China, Fattoc started rapping in high school, he was greatly fascinated by this genre and the aggressive way to express one emotion.
